Killing it dude, really clean start with some awesome parts to go on it! Looking forward to seeing this progress.
alright guys, since all you guys don't know me.. well.. I'm a huge ford nut. I love everything ford, and it just happened by accident I ended up with this.
The story goes.. I'm 16 and from South-West Victoria. and this is my 1984 Toyota Ke70. sorry if none of this makes sense its posted on the 'MIGHTY CAR MODS' forum.
The link:
It has been sitting up the road from me for 4 years now out in the open. Every 6 months or so I would go to the house and offer them what I thought was suitable money for this. I started off with about $300 when I was 12. then as I learned how truly awesome these things are the money peaked at $1500 when it was still immaculate condition. but sitting for 4 years really has taken its toll. in the end the guy was sick of talking to me every 6 months or so about it and caved in. and now it sits on my driveway for a sum of $550.
Went through the boot properly too, turns out it has been rust proofed already. All rust removed too. Just un fortunate the painting was done by a paint brush.
future mods include-
-make it go faster
-fix all rust
- paint it
- drive the wheels off of it on my L-plates.
Then, came all this. at a bargain price.
7 rib block for turbo in the future.
14x7.5 Genuine Volk Meshies
S13 front coilovers, and ca18det front brakes.
A full Bluetop bigport 4age wiring loom, surge tank and pump setup.
Racing seat and harness I got with the package deal.
and the 'Rolla with the meshies on it. (jack was on other side, thats why so much positive camber)
How much did all this cost so far you may ask?
I cleaned swapped a 2006 honda crf250r dirt bike for all the parts. so, the whole car has cost nearly 3k so far.

Do yourself a fav and on sell the s13 gear. Not a good upgrade for the ke70 as it requires allot of patience and knowledge to set it up properly.
clean car and welcome to the forums

thanks, I really wasn't planning on using these coilovers. they are 10kg and would destroy the car in no time on Australian roads.
