Set the front crossmember up and modded the rack to solid mount it:





Dummied up the front end and started playing with a few bits then this happened:





Keep in mind this IS NOT the finished set up! Yes there are tie rods, you just have to look hard to see them (they're black) NO it doesn't bind badly and even so I am still playing with rack placement (further forward than standard).

Made the dry sump pan and did the first half of the exhaust:







Progress has been slow becuase I went to Japan and drifted for a week and did matsuri and I have started up a little side business doing cut and shut silvia and corolla knuckles, extended LCA's and whatever other fab work I can do reasonably quickly, all of which pays for the parts for this thing

Progress still slow, pumping out cash work to pay for this damn engine build! like so:



Done a fair few small jobs that aren't post worthy, but the main one being making the water pipes and sorting the -20 AN fitting for the water system

Got the sump finished, had a tailshaft made, got the underside painted and the inside primed. Just got a dash, oil tank and a few other bits to mount and put my door bars in then it'll be ready to paint the inside and bay. Made the tie rods and finally got the car on the ground this weekend.
