Default [NSW] 1986 Sprinter Trueno AE86 JDM Kouki (Lots of Pics)

Hi guys, Regretfully selling my car

For Sale: 1986 Toyota Sprinter Trueno AE86 in White/Black Panda Scheme

    Price: $14,500.
Price is negotiable but only to a certain extent. If you're not happy with my price, have a look at the market for similar condition cars (especially in NSW) and come back to me. Don't be ridiculous.

Condition: Used, In good, working condition.
    - 180,xxx Kms on the body
    - 10,000 ish kms on the engine3
    - Rego ends in November 2014
    - Car has been resprayed by previous owner from factory silver to panda scheme.

    Interior:
    - TRD Gear knob
    - Lexus IS Floormats up front
    - Aftermarket Single-din headunit with ipod/usb
    - Bride Brix driver's seat not included in sale but can include for extra $$ (otherwise will come with oem jdm kouki seat)
    - Has unique JDM speed chime (but i've unplugged it cause it's annoying over 100kmh)
    - Icy cold A/C, have had the system overhauled to take R134a gas to meet environmental standards.

    Exterior:
    - Exterior is mostly stock.
    - Hayashi Streets 14x7 -6mm fitted with hankook tyres (almost new)
    - New wipers
    - No rust under doors
    - Zenki Rear Bumper (car apparently had an aftermarket kit on it when it was imported from japan)

    Steering, Suspension & Brakes:
    - Has power steering (oem option)
    - New RHS Tie rod end (one of the things needed for blueslip)
    - All suspension bushes have been changed to nolathane items
    - 40mm Roll Centre Adjusters
    - Front Strut brace
    - Adjustable camber tops
    - OEM shocks up front

    - New Timing Belt and Water Pump
    - 2" exhaust, new cat

    - TRD Spark Plug Leads
    - Stock T50 Box
    - TRD 2 Way LSD, 4.3 Final Drive

    Security:
    - Mongoose M60s Alarm System

    Cons:
    - Rust patch on one corner of the tailgate, can get repaired but I'd probably just go get a fibreglass hatch. Cheaper and very lightweight.
    - Also that same corner, a real estate sign has gashed the bodywork a bit, I've repainted the area using some random white car paint, but should take it to a panel beater to get it fixed 100%
    - Fuel gauge doesn't work too well, I think there's something wrong with the signal. The fuel light comes on as normal though!

    Comments:
    - This is probably the best/funnest car I've ever owned. Has never let me down, never skipped a beat. Always starts first go even on a cold morning. Drove it here from Qld where I purchased it, took the 800+km drive down like a champ. Only thing we needed to fill up was the window washer water. Engine does not burn oil at all. I have given it a good service last saturday, changed oil (10w40 full synthetic), oil filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, gearbox oil, diff oil. Gets about 450kms per tank on 98ron (albeit a pretty small tank). It's very fuel efficient! I've gone through the trouble of getting it blueslipped and registered here in NSW, so it's a perfect car for someone who loves classic toyotas and P Platers (who care for their cars).

Reason for the regrettable sale is my family is going to be moving houses soon, and I want to help out with the mortgage. Also I'm a full time uni student, an AE86 isn't something I want to waste kms on daily driving to uni. This is a car that should be enjoyed, on a weekend, at a track or the mountain runs, not racking up thousands of K's doing daily duties. Especially since our new house is going to be further away from my uni.

    Sorry for TL;DR

    Location:
Car can be inspected in western sydney, either in St Marys, or Kingswood, or Chester Hill. Contact me and arrange something!

Inspections are welcome, and test drives should be ok if i think you're a serious customer.

If after you've inspected it and you're interested in it, I would be more than happy to deliver the car to you if you're in the sydney area.

    Contact Details:
Best and quickest way to contact me is through SMS, on O432 432 77O. Otherwise shoot me a PM, and i'll try help as best as i can. Althought I'm not always on the forums.

    NOTE:
Keep in mind that I do love this car, and if I don't get a decent price for it I have no problems keeping it. So DON'T LOWBALL.

    Now for the good stuff,
    the PICS

And pics of the rust on tailgate area

    Anyway, thanks for looking/reading!
