I have a t18 diff with standard axels and a trd 2 way no modifications
In my opinion theyre (The 6,7" T-axles) the same, should take a lot of punishment before breaking, for LSD install on my T312 axle I had to shorten each halfshaft with 6mm (Would have gotten away with around 5 but couldnt be arsed with cutting them again if I somehow came up short), in short if you have a LSD compatible axle you`re safe (Unless something with your setup makes the rear axle jump at the curbs and breaking halfshafts).
Not to steal topic, but can T312 drum axle, which has different caliper plate mounting pattern, be converted to disc brakes using available products?
