Default Bolt Torque Specs for Clutch Replacement - Townace 98

    Hi,
    I have a May 98, Australian Townace, KR42R - RCMRSQ, 7K engine.

Does anyone know the bolt torque specs for -
    1. Flywheel to crankshaft
    2. Clutch pressure plate to flywheel
    3. Bell housing to engine

    Thanks
    Craig

    F**ing tight.

Use Loctite on your flywheel bolts.

This is for 4AG...But best check for 7K
If re-using old crank bolts check for signs of rust.
Discard and replace any that have signs of corrosion that may have compromised strenght
I would recommend the use of loctite when installing these.
In my opinion PP and Bellhousing do not require torque settings.
Just don't over tighten PP to flywheel, but do up F**ing with spanner (not breaker bar) and make sure are all same high tensile bolts.

Agree with Futo. I do pressure plate and bellhousing bolts by hand (reasonably tight as they are only M6 after all, and FT respectively). Flywheel bolts get a torque wrench, the correct tightening order, Loctite and a dab of lube under the heads.

I am happy to reuse flywheel bolts, but only if I know their history. On a wrecker motor I will replace them.
