Hmm, sounds like it should all be pretty good with all of those new parts in there, what sort of toe/caster are you running?
Hey,
Just after some ideas on what might be causing my car to have a really slow delayed steering.
Feels completely unresponsive and gives no driver feedback. Kinda gets a bit of over correction(delayed demon wobble).
Things i've done:
Front>
Rebuilt steering rack
new rack ends
new tie rod ends
new lca bushes & ball joints
new sway bar bushes (std bar)
have tried different front coilovers
new federal 595's
had a few wheel alignments
new castor rod bushes
new steering rack bushes
new steering uni joint
Rear>
new shocks
tried different springs
new rose jointed 4 link
rose jointed panhard rod
new federal 595's
new wheel bearings
new sway bar bushes (std bar)
new wheel bearings
Noticed my front left wheel bearing has a bit of play the other day, so going to replace them. Also got whiteline sway bar to put in the rear.
Any other suggestions? Anyone had a similar problem?
I'm trying to get it sorted for driftfest.
Cheers

current toe is 0
castor 5deg
Play in wheel bearings would give those symptoms.

Yeah am hoping that's all it will be.
Just trying to get as many possible ideas should that fail
Yeah spend a little more coin and do new wheel bearings, makes a world of difference
Is it a power rack or manual?
Check your steering arms are bolted up tight.

All bolts are done up tight, we've been over the car a 1000 times trying to find the problem, we even tested different alloy wheels and compared how much the rim flexes (yes you can flex alloy rims by yanking them from side to side). If it's just a wheel bearing it will be an embarrassing relief (never tell Cass).
Rear swaybar upgrade will increase oversteer.
Sounds like wheel bearings are the culprit, or the chassis or crossmember is cracked and allowing movement, cause most other things youve fixed.
