plans to go carbed, but have a few questions on engine harness

Wassup guys, I have gts ae86 and plan to run carbs on my 16v 4age. Ive already purchased a few parts(4k dizzy(modded), mikuni flat slide cabrs, fpr, and fuel pump) and slowly getting everything I need to get my carb setup going but im a bit confused on the engine harness part. Ive been reading alot into it and have read that I can use my stock gt-s garnes but will need to hack it up which I dont want to. Also ive read that I could use the sr5 harness but itll need a bit of modification but I cant find anytbing other than people saying itll need to be modded a bit or no it wont work. My plan is to run the 4k modded dizzy but wandering can I run the sr5 harness with it. Also, is there another route I can take using the 4k modded dizzy or what I can use to run the it.

There's nothing off the shelf that will work, you will have to modify an existing loom or just make a new one from scratch. What are you going to use for the ignition system side of things? You won't be able to use the existing computer to run the ignition system with the 4K distributor.

Well....thats kind of what im wanting to know thats why im asking about the harness. I guess I shouldve been a little bit more clear so sorry for that on my part. But can I use the 4ac harness and add the ignition system to it. Sorry for all the noob questions and all though

The best way to run the ignition is to use something like an MSD 6AL to run the stock 4age distributor. You will need to modify your harness to run it though, gotta get power from somewhere!

Okay, so can I run the 4k dizzy with the msd 6 al. Ive read a few forums that its possible with the sr5 harness but will take some wiring up to get done.

Now can I run a msd 5. I found one locally and the guy is selling pretty cheap or shoyld I stay away from it
