    Running rich - Check your coolant temp sensor is working? or just buy a generic one from bursons 20$.
    Backfiring - check ignition leads, could have a dud one - possibly the coil to dizz one

    Is it actually backfiring out the inlet, or just running rough under load? And I don't see how you can clean the points, it's an electronic distributor. Are the leads all going to the right cylinders, or has the distributor been removed?

    I just rubbed tham back with wet dry, its backfireing out the inlet on idal and also under load
