Its probably worn gears and bearings. More likely in the centre. You need the attention of a good diff shop.
Im very limited to my knowledge about cars since i just only recently got an interest in them when i bought my hachi. My car makes this loud high pitched whining noise in the rear when i get it up to about 30 mph, it gets a little quieter when i get it up to about 65 mph but its still there. i was just wondering if this could be my LSD getting worn out or if its a wheel bearing going bad. Any thoughts or opinions are greatly appreciated.

Alright thanks, the guy i bought it from was convinced it was a wheel bearing for some reason.
Wheel bearing will br more of an on/off slight grinding noise that will get faster as you accelerate
And if you corner it will load up the bearing too and should be louder depending on which way you turn.
