so you're gonna go from a 4k to an rb25det with the whole fruit basket???? haha, way overkill on power dude, even a gze will be a crazy power upgrade over a 4k, being in a kesev with 200atw was ridiculous, i can't even see the point in that much power for such a small car

why rb? 1jz is so much better. there is a guy on toymods with a 1jz in his panel van with the firewall largely untouched. it's basically a street drag car though and runs a 10

So is that thing legally registered? I've never been sure if you could get a rb25/1jz properly mod plated into a ae71?

who knows, under nsw rta guidelines your vehicle weight to engine capacity can only by X 2.5 if turbo/supercharged based on.. '''Original weight’ is the original (unmodified) ‘tare weight’ of the sedan version of the vehicle model fitted with the largest
engine available for the model but without optional accessories such as air conditioning and tow bar.'''

so for ae71 about 950?? 1jz is out of contention, car has to weigh 996.4 kg in the specified form.

im not a huge fan of sr20's either.

1jz IMO is a better motor and cheaper then rb25. hell even compared to a rb26 the 1jz is still a winner in every respect.

1jz with the auto, a big stall and line locker would make an awesome drift car. just press both pedals at the same time and no one will see the lack of angle for the smoke.. do it.

rb25 in a corona would be a bit better weight wise and would be a bigger sleeper.
