Polishing Wheels
sorry if this is classed as a tech q, if so move i dont care, but i have bought a set of 15x7 meshies and the lip is crusty and looks shit. i want to know wat u guys recommend the best way to bring back the chrome lip

To get rid of rash, sand it smooth, but not to much of course, then to clean the other shit off, if you know how to sandblast, or know someone who can, get them to do the rims for you.. then paint to colour of choice.. Will look brand new!
Or if your cheap go to supercheap auto and buy wheel polish.. the best shit is in a Yellow tin, Works a dream..
clean the rim as much as you can...get some autosol put some elbow grease into them and they sud begin to look good. my mate spent 1 week polishing his wheels which looked alot worst then yours....jst sitting there everyday after working polishing his wheels came out so good...

I wouldn't recommend autosol.. to much hard work lol.. i forget the name of the shit in the yellow tin, i rate it 5048502437062035x better then autosol!
^^^^ everything has to come with hard work bro! find out what that yellow tin is called.... il do a pair with your yellow tin and a pair with autosol we'll see how they turn out

ive been using autosol for years. its fucking killer on decent chrome, but takes much goddamn time and energy when trying to restore crusty chrome/metal.
im lazy and want an easier option

it used to be evil, fibreglassy semi damp cotton wool stuff yeah? if so, i stock it at work, its now in a shiny silver tin, and the jellybean is gone.

Trust me, you will be supprised how much less effort you have to use, it's like a cotton based polish.. soo good!
haha alirght gumbie! il buy it and giv it ago! seems to have alot of positive feedback! but u know u cant go wrong with good old autosolbesides maybe the arm and finger cramps u get...LOL

i use the autosol stuff have tried a few other ones they didnt work as well. u do have to use a bit of elbow grease with the autosol but comes up alright after a while.
adys28- wat do u use when ur polishing with autosol?? like cloth or wat?
