I bought a donor car a few months ago a 4age ae71 it was in running condition started drove everything. Ran perfectly i stripped everything and out it in my stock ke70 auto 3 speed. Took his entire loom out and put it in my car his coil was on the other side passenger side mine was on the drivers so extended the wires inhibited the start in park switch the only modification to the wiring i did.The car gets red dash lights when you turn the ignition key. Although it doesn't crank when i start it everything is wired up all grounds are their 2 on the block and 1 on the head. My ke70 plug on the firewall has 6 plugs the ae71 has 5,apprently the puprle wire is irrelvant on the ke. So it evens out plugged that straight in. since my car was auto when i start it and floor the car the auto kickdown(disconnected since) cranks the engine and starts the fuel pump no idea how so i assume the ecu is in working order . The problem i suspect is the relays in the egine bay for the thermo, injector and coil are faulty the thermo fan doesnt turn on when i turn the key and their is a voltage drop all of the relays its showing 6 instead of 12. any help or ideas on how to get her started would be appreciated thanks. All of the relays have ground
Low voltage like that is very likely to be an earthing problem. Dumb question but is your battery itself flat?
Loose battery terminal or the main earths missing.
Wiring on a ke70 is very close to that of an ae71, dizzy on the opposite side and a couple of other things.
