that is fwd setup without the heater, I cut the original pipes half way along. The hose in the pic not connected i hooked up to the back of the head.
there is no reason why u can't loop in the Heater hoses
I know there a few threads around but most of pictures are to old to be displayed which is annoying.
In the process of rigging up the cooling system on my smallport 4age ae71. I have retained all the 4age fwd cooling pipes and thermostat, also have a spare one out of an ae82 4ac
-will the small port water outlet clear the firewall?
-can someone point towards a picture where i can retain the fwd waterpump and alternator, and just run pipes to suit?
-i want to retain my heater as its a daily.
had a search but i didnt find anything specific, photos would help most as im abit confused.

the rear outlet will clear the firewall no problem. The water feed off this goes to the heater tap, then heater core and back to the fitting on the external housing. If you don't want to run a heater then block off instead of joining the hoses to bypass.
