Towed this out to a remote area yesterday. Took it for it's first proper drive. Just drove casually at first to make sure everything was peachy. It was. Tried to get up it to see what she was made of but had a massive fuel/ignition cut at 6000rpm. Got a few things to check over that could be the cause of the problem. Won't be anything major, most likely a faulty sensor.

So took is for its first drift on Friday night. The car ran great, goes good, is fast and loud. Had a fuel leak issue before we started but sorted that, only other problem was a leaky clutch master cylinder which is probly just from old age. Couple things to do and ill be out early in the new year.

Saw this in the flesh today.

Its a sweet little rocket. Im very impressed with how the thing fits in a ke70. Its a nice compact engine compared to some, and its a good looking thing. Have you ever weighed it?

Great build! I'm also retro fitting an engine to my KE70 and need to either space the cross member or cut n weld the sump. Notice any handling negatives with dropping the cross member 50mm? Did you also drop the lca 50mm?

What engine and gearbox are u wanting to run? I fitted 50mm roll center adjusters so now the lca's sit level. Only driven it once but the steering and handeling seemed fine.

So I worked out probly most of the reason y I kept spinning out last drift session. This was my full lock with xt130 steering arms.

So I thought I would do something about this.

shortened 86 arms and extra lock spacers.

Shortened arm next to stock xt130 arm

Now I get this much lock

drifting this Friday so hopefully do a lot better

Going for some moo action. Test fitted and sump fouls on the front of the cross member so I'm either thinking of spacing it or worst case modding the sump which I'd rater avoid like the plague. Tube cross member is an option but a tad outside my current skill set with the wleder
