how come reshell into another shell then smash it up again? wouldnt it be worth your while to keep the smashed shell seeing its only rear half damage and car still drives strait then build up a tidy shell to put all the running gear into when you stop damaging shells. just seams like a waste of time.. seeing as your new shell has the exact same damage again..
neat conversion. though. how much did you pay for the motor and box? i can find any much cheaper than 5k. which isnt very affordable. i was considering running this motor in my ra23.
I didn't deliberately smash this shell up, just came in to hot into a corner and hit the wall. the old shell was well fuck anyway, besides the damage it didn't have much holding it together from all the rust it had. new shell was repaired, then had the boot floor cut out to make way for a flat floor and fuel cell, as it was rusty, new tail lamp panel and rear quarter section ready to weld on once the floor is complete. also getting a one piece tailshaft made. ordered some t3 parts to stiffen the rear up too, will all be ready to go by matsuri. hopefully sooner...

finished repairing and fitting new rear in this. went to matsuri, after breaking 2 diffs, fuel issues, spark issues, wiring issues, with a total track time of aprox 1 hour over the entire weekend, its in the naughty corner with its nose on the wall. brought another engine and car to build. will keep roughing it in this car until the other is built. I did however make it onto speed hunters, will upload some pics later maybe
