Default GQ nissan patrol diff into ke70?

I know people do hilux diff conserions into ke70/ae86 but has anyone put a GQ patrol diff in?

There are heaps of them with good LSDs and ratios and are pretty cheap, $250-300 with LSD

Are there any reasons why this diff wont work??

hilux diff is over kill and way to heavy, patrol diff is just silly.

what motor you running, if its a 4cylinder boosted, a modded t series with big axles will be fine or a f series. g series if ya gonna be pushing power and slicks.

f series is where its at if ya got some powers.

okay so its more about the weight and being unnecessary than about the fitment

f series does seems the way to go (i have a 4agte maybe 170kw) but there so hard to find, and hard to get decent LSDs

I don't know how you got that figure, the standard torsen sxe10 altezza can be had <$300. A new TRD for around $800 landed from Japan.
