Been slowly working on the bay within the last week or so
bought a new grinder, broke after 5 minutes so swapped it for a better one
Cut out the battery tray, coil/ ignitor mount & the other tab on the passenger side strut tower
Started laying down some filler & sanding the excess
Still in its early stages but get the idea
Need to weld all the holes up & repeat the process

Don't realise how many lumps & holes there are until your looking for them!
I nearly sent myself mental sanding the engine bay and in the end I will admit I did a pretty average job at best

Bit more progress on the bay
Still needs alot more sanding & to be welded up
Layed some spray putty down to distinguish high & low spots
The blue circles are the holes i'm planing to weld up, a rough guide at the moment
Haha that top panel under the windscreen is the worst, i completely shaved mine minus the wiper motor and it sucked
thats what im going for with mine too!
its such a pain but will be worth it
