Started with a ke70, did shit all to it other than cut springs and applied wheels and terrible stickers. I think there's a thread for it here somewhere.

Then sold it bought an R31 on trailer wheels, did naughty things, took far too long to get rid of said trailer wheels, after they were gone I actually did some cool shit to it. However the 5-0 didn't think it was so cool, they rocked up home last week and tried to get me to take it to DOT.... Nah ha. So I took the cool bits out and sold it for a really good price.

So that leads to now, a friend had a very tidy Rt142 wagon sitting in his yard for really cheap because it has blown headgasket/f**ked head. Interior looks nearly untouched, no stains, rips or cracks anywhere very keen to fix it up and getting some more seat time than I got in the 31. I've missed the Toyota Vibe.

Picked it up yesterday arvo, grabbed all the parts out of the back and cleaned them, cleaned the block up a bit but I'm pretty sure I'll need another motor, bore isn't very pretty and I think that the head might be too soft, there's a half decent engine for sale out of an ra65 at the moment for a fair bit but it'd be worth it, but being on an extremely tight budget from being in between jobs may prevent me from picking it up though, if I can sell my Bride and left over Nissan bits I'll be laughing though.

Anyway, threw my Tri's on to cry over the amount of wheel gap, previous owner cut the rears though(about 2 inches uneven might I add) so it's sitting a lot better at the back. Needs more aggressive sizes though

Yeah man I'm amazed at how clean the paint is, only rust is around the windshield which is worrying me because I'll have to get it changed for rwc. The interior is nearly untouched though!

Pulled the dead motor out today and Picking up a motor on Saturday!
268 degree cam with .425" lift
    Uprated springs and nitrated valves.
    Heads been ported.
    Decked block and head.
Rebuilt bottom end and steel timing chain guide.
Cannon Intake manifold with twin 45mm DCOE Solex carbs.
Pretty keen to see what power it'll make, just have to sort out a fuel system and get some trumpets and filters.
After thats all running and sweet I'll do a few things for roadworthy and get it on the road.

Did some more rwc shit today;tie rod ends, rack boots, swaybar links and adjusted up wheel bearings. All that's left is windscreen and front rotor machine, I'm just keen to drive it, I'll have to run the EFI set up for awhile until I gather up the rest of the parts to use the carbs. Keen as though.

That will go suprisingly well, get it tuned on 98, advance the timing. Should make power to around 5500-6000

Power to weight it'll be around the same as the 31 I was told, a friend has just told me he has a complete sedan for a tenth of the price, considering flagging the motor, mostly because its a 9 hour round trip for a 22re and I can build my own with a more aggressive cam and higher comp.
