So after giving up on my wagon as it was going to cost way too much to finish, I started looking for something running that could replace it.
Was looking for an Ae86 at first but for what i could get the price wasn't worth it.
Then a friend posted this up for sale as he wasn't wanting to do track work anymore, and i got it for an extremely reasonable price.

Got it with no wheels so chucked my riversides and mk1s on.

Its running a 20v which is a bit of a mix. Blacktop head and silvertop bottom end with a TRD head gasket to bump compression up to 10.5:1 and has a Toda flywheel.
Got a few plans for it, mainly more slam, but engine is staying put.

In other news
My riversides got all leaky on me, so chucked a pair of MkIIIs on and got it an alignment.

Put on an old Nardi i had lying around to replace the yuck woodgrain one that came with it

And went down to Meremere to help out at a drift day my mate was running. Got out on track at lunch time to have a go, car goes well, but got a bit scared of the concrete walls as i had an hour drive home, so took it easy.

So car is ready for the next track day, but need to buy more wheels as i sold my riversides. So will hopefully have more soon for a few days coming up.

Also cut up some spare struts for more slam, as the sleeves in current ones have been welded way too high. As well as extended some LCAs and getting a mate to do some knuckles for me.
