are left and right ra40 struts the same ?

hey.

i bought some ra40 struts a while ago, and looking at them today i saw that the struts were identical to each other, as you could use either on each side (just have to swap brake brackets over). the brake line mount was attached on the same sides as each strut.

is this true, or do i have two L or R side struts ?
