    Default ke70 wiring

    hi i am stuck on my 4age into ke70 swap! i have the engine and all in, i have the engine wiring harness in and hooked up but i have the 14 pin plug there but not hooked up and just need to know which wires need to be hooked up and where they need to go to get it up and running cheers guys

    Have a read of this and if you are still stuck come back and ask more questions.



    As for the ECU 3 wires is all u need for it to run, but if u want it to run right as it does from factory in an ae86 / ae82 then you'll need more.

    Batt = Constant power
    B+ = Ignition Power

    cheers mate! i have +b1 & +b hooked together and to ignition power
    and batt to constant 12v but still nothing when i turn the key, is there a earth for the ecu?

    Yes there is... It is the brown wires going to an eyelet which bolts to the inlet manifold inside the engine bay.

    If you have nothing when you turn the key, then you need to wire the starter motor up, which is a single black wire in the engine bay near the battery. Buy yourself a multi-meter if you don't own one already. Supercheap / Repco sell $10 ones. Put it on the dc voltage and measure the wire which has power when u turn the ignition key.

    Read guide I posted initially and if there is anything you don't understand, don't be afraid to ask questions.

    I have 12v at the big wire on the starter but the little signal wire doesn't get power when key is turned to start!

    Where did you connect the wiring to? I'll get you a picture over the weekend as to which wire is the starter signal wire.

    I'v connected the same wires that were on the 4k starter motor to the 4age starter motor

    Also that guide says to power a yellow wire for the injectors but my harness dosent have a yellow wire haha thanks for the help mate

    So when u turn the key nothing happens? Or the starter turns over?
