Its not a performance motor, its a truck motor. Its not really worth the effort for what you'll get from it.
just wondering if anyone has done that conversion into a ke70???? if so did the corona x member bolt straight in??

i duno man i got the motor in the corona atm and it slides way better then the ke....sideways 1st 2nd and 3rd....im sure it would go better in the ke

it would be a bit front heavy for a ke. though you could adapt your driving style to accomodate it. Just need big brakes and fat tyres up front so it doesnt understeer massively
" I swear its stock officer. Just don't get me to park next to another Ke70 "
Crossmember swap is a no-go.
It'll be a lot of effort to swap it in.
trust me, swapping one of these from an ST141 to an RT142 is a pain, let alone a KE70.
They are torquey but by no means a performance engine. Good for skids of various description and powering hiluxes in standard form.
Seriously not worth the effort.
You can have any brew you want... as long as it's a Datsun / Corolla / What is that?
hmmm getting to the point just locking the corona and thrash that on track and kept ke as a daily

my friends building a 22r in a ke70 drift car not sure it running yet
18rg > 22re
I have a 22re in my celica. I don't know why anyone would want to put it into another car.. I want to get it out of mine.
Not worth the time or effort.
Stop trying to be different and cheap.
Chuck a 4age in and learn to drive.
If you already have one, turbo it.
RT142 Estate.
