    Eddy's got the idea, it's a no-modification affair.

The you might have some trouble removing the dash surround, they're a bit interesting to get in and out. Be careful or you'll crack it.

Other than that it's plug and play. Remember to plug your speedo cable back in.

I have found that the easiest way to remove the surround is to remove the wheel and drop the steering column.

Yeah i normally just take the steering column surround off, this gives you enough room, just.

thanks for the quick reply fellas

nah thats no biggie i've pulled the thing out a few times coz the old cluster had a shorting problem and kept blowing fuses for the petrol gauge...

but i've plugged the new one in and the speed works being mechanical, the fuel works and isnt popping the fuse any more which is good but the issues im having are...

    - temp doesnt work
    - handbrake light stays on
    - dash lights dont come on
    - indicators both flash at the same time on cluster only
    - revs dont work
    - no high beem low beem light

so yeah thats the problems so far, i've plugged everything in but was wondering if i needed to fiddle with the wiring to get everything going???

update - found out that the ke70 cluster that has the big clock is a straight swap but mine is the one with the big fuel/temp gauge and has a small analoge clock on the top left side. Im assuming now that wires will need to be swapped in the plugs to get it all running right?

    =(

they bolt in, with no mods. so if its not working either the dash cluster you got is dead, or something has gone wrong (i.e short in the board or interferrence).

i have a good condtition working taco cluster if yours is dead. otherwise just have a look over to see if anything looks suss.
