Its a straight swap between AE71 and KE70 unless you have a panel van.
I've seen one diagram out there for a KE70, except it was very basic, don't hold your breath for anything good.
You should be able to work it out just by looking at each cluster and swapping pins around. (Assuming you're putting an AE71 dash into a KE70 PV here).
ah i thought my user name would be a dead give away.. lol
I tried running a tacho dash in a KE panelvan.
All plugs lined up and plugged in perfect, but the pins were wrong and when I put the battery back on the RHS blinker didn't stop, even when ignition was off.
It can be done, just be prepared to cut the wires and swap them around.
i have a book for all ke70's. i can scan it up and send you the pics if you want??
that be great man! ill pm you my email!
For the good of the whole community here that'd be awesome if you can.
We can find some way of hosting it up too.
i have the yellow book which mainly focuses on the k motor and the gregories one for the whole car. both or just the gregories one?
i have a tacho dash in my 82 KE and it wont work fully. the guy i got the car off had stripped it bare aside from the body loom. the three plugs go in fine and the indicator lights on the dash cluster blink but nothing else like the dash lights or temp or fuel gauge want to work.
thoughts? suggestions?
dont need to cut and swap wires, from memory you can pull the pins out the plugs and move em around, i got my wiring diagrams from the library. pretty funny, they had like 6 cars and one just happened to be the keto, these days can figure it out pretty quick without a diagram, not too many wires in a keto.
