AE71 Curb Weight?

I was just wondering, what's the curb weight of a stock AE71 and if anybody's done some serious lightening work, how far have you gotten?

930kg

air con setup weighs 13kg incl motor, core, bracket, under dash unit.

Spare and jack are about 10 or more

Sound deadening was 12kg from memory

I would say thats a pretty damn good start

Mine was 1060 with:

Me - 95kg
Tools - 14kg
Spare n Jack - 10kg
Full of fuel.


Thats with no carpet, firewall sound deadener, back seat bumrest or belts or door trims.

That was on the dump weigh bridge but should be pretty close. The woman tried to charge me dumping fees to use the weighbridge.
