ok im about to ether make a nice mod or a big fuck up to my trueno bonnet...
i noticed that the standard water squirter's are rather shit... so i raided a toyota camry about 2 weeks ago for its squirter's, instead of having a few dot points for the water jets its a big fan that spreads across the window. anyway i got them and thought sweet ill pop these straight in and it will be sweet but the hole in the bonnet is different.
so im about to cut my bonnet a little bit bigger to fit the new jets...
when its done they will be awesome but if i fuck it im gonna have to ether bog it or cut out and make proper plates for the squirter's.
pics will be up about 5 min after im finished.

ok so here they are all installed with out to much of a fuss ...
so for this i had to drill out the original washer jet hole with i think was about a 11mm drill bit then i first tried cutting it out with tin snips ... what a bad idea that was the bonnet started to bend up where i cut so i quit that idea and grabbed a file it turned out better with a file i think and it didn't lift my bonnet ... but because i quit the tin snips early i was able to save the bonnet with the file.
if anyone is thinking of doing this i would suggests only doing it if you can afford to respray your bonnet or if it hasn't been sprayed yet or if you don't mind the look of primer. as you can see in the pics my primer took a few hits and is now scratchedbut its worth it for the nice washers.
anyway enjoy the pics ( the first pic is the new one and the 2nd pic is the old one.)
heres also a video link to the test with one original and the new one.
