yea it was alright i used the phone on the side of the freeway to call my boss and he was just leaving work so he came out with some fuel.
its all because the motor in my subaru is just about dead ... with 418XXXkm on the clock it has had a hard life ... but i got a new motor and its going in tomorrow. its still in the shell im taking it out of ... richard you have probably seen the shell i have for it, i left it out the front of my work for a few nights.
but anyway ill have the new motor out in the morning and then in by the afternoon. ill drive in and drive out.

and now installed... finally my 86 starts on its own ... but it still needs me to do the front main and then work out the funny idle and why i have no throttle response.

ok ive fixed the throttle response problem ... i took the TPS off and cleaned the contacts then re positioned it.
but now its idling really high.
and i took it for a small drive up and down the driveway at work ... its gonna be a fun car when im done ... but i get the feeling im going to have to change the rear suspension set up ... it felt really hard and i could hear my tyres scrubbing out on the guards on the bumps.

that was yesterday. the first start up with the JDM tank
this was today. after i took the TPS off and cleaned it and then repositioned it.
but its idling high
this was later today... i disconnected the map sensor to see if it made a difference which it did but it was still high and this way it wasn't drivable.
