yea looks alright, but when i mount a 12.5K Rpm tacho infront of the standard one it will be very much more initial D than that one.
but the tacho i will get is just a tacho ... no speed readings for me.

Also ... im going for a blue slip tomorrow.

and i just when for a quick thrash around my industrial estate ... i got it a lil sideways in a few corners but only as far as the open S series diff would let me... and then i went a little beyond and spun a 180... lol it was fucking awesome. it was a total wet warrior. but i really NEED to fix my steering ... i the wheel wont auto straighten when you let go of it ... i need more caster ... and also less camber. but surprisingly the front with -4 camber was grippier than the back in the wet ... but the back has almost no suspension travel... i need to swap for some standard stroke shocks.

ok so i had a blue slip inspection today ... it didnt cost me anything ... i didnt pass or fail ... but i now have a nice list of what i need to fix to get one.

2 ball joints ... will be replaced with different LCA's ( FIXED)
secure brake lines front and rear... going hunting at the wreckers tomorrow. ( FIXED)
front wheel bearing... will re pack with grease unless its rooted
steering rack notchy ( not smooth)... will lube rack and should be fixed with shorter LCA's (FIXED)
pan hard rod bushes... depending on price i might just buy a new adjustable one
rear springs sagged... they are not sagging, my short stroke shocks are compressing them, but i will be replacing the shocks ( FIXED)
wrong rims & tyres... ill borrow some stock ones to pass ( bought some stockies) but i require 14" rims to clear my brakes
over track... will be fixed with new LCA's ( FIXED)
front parkers... apparently standard orange ones wont do it ... i need some white ones so im gonna wire up some white lights for the slip and then remove after i pass ( cable tied ADM number plate lights onto my front bar and wired them in)
head lights must go up and down... the guy didnt know where my switch was for this so its ... (DONE!)
oil leak at rear extension housing and sump... ill check it out and try and fix it but i might just wipe it down before the inspection
drivers side door hinges... they drop down when the door opens so ill need to replace these or try and fix them ( bought new hinges) FIXED!
passenger seat not secure... it has a loos bolt under it somewhere i need to find it and tighten it ( put some pop rivets in it)

now the things he missed ...

    open pod filter
    no radiator fan shroud
    holes in boot
rust hole in the pocket where the jack is stored
spare tyre was wrong size and 5 stud wheel pattern
25mm bolt on spacers at the rear
    to low
    no jack
    front bar cable tied on
    rear bar cable tied on
    4A-GE engine
    cut & shut manifold
steering wheel to small ( blocks vision of dash cluster)
    no check engine light
no high beam in high beam on position
    factory oil gauge not working

thats all i can think off that is dodgy

so once i fix the things at the top i can get my blue slip.

ok so i fitted the LCA's and found that i couldnt get my wheels to adjust in enough to fix the toe in at the front ... so with a quick word to steroid chickens i soon had the problem sorted ... my rack ends were to long ... because the MX62 LCA's were fitted they needed longer rack ends to make it work ... so i ordered some AE86 ones brand new and only cost me about $50
the stock AE86 alloys only fit on the back of my 86 ... my celica brakes at the front require a 14" rim to fit over them ... so i am on the hunt for toyota 14" alloys
the door hinges will be going on shortly.

and i gave my car a wheel alignment today spec's are as followed

    Camber : -1.0 both sides

Castor : RHS + 4.4 LHS + 4.2 these are both maxed out

    Toe : toe out 0.5mm

the steering already feels alot better and i havent even had it out on the road properly yet ... gonna go for a test run tomorrow.
