The raffle is a good idea, but why dont you sell tickets for $2, then say 500 members bought the, the winner could win $500, and the rest go into getting dc registered.

Maybe, we could get some of the site sponsors, to put together prize packs, like ajps could do a shock and spring pack, other sponsors could put up a set of whitline raer lights etc etc.

You could also have quarterly raffles, then have a annual mega raffles.

Do not move to sydney rio, its a hole, and should be blown up, when I do my trip around oz in january, I'm going to find some out back country town to live in.

NZ is supposed to be rather boring, well thats what my kiwi mates use an excuse to move over here.

P.s NZ is nice for a holiday. I went over last month for 4 days (surprise trip from my wife for my birthday). and I went over for a week last year to a place called Mangawhai, gorgeous country... All of her [wifes] rellies are from NZ and they are all migrating over to Australia for a reason.

I don't think I could handle living in NZ, but if its for a holiday - i'll be the first one on the plane ready to go

Rio: last time I checked if u own it for 12 months in NZ, then you can ship it over. Unsure on compliance etc, but there are places that can sort that easily enough.

Personally, if I ever got the shits with Brisbane, I would move to Perth. I travel all around australia for work, and I must say that Perth comes a close second next to Brisbane. My best man from my wedding also got the shits with where he was living in northen NSW, and just packed up one day and flew to Perth, got a job there and lived there for about 9 months.

nz just has the ability to own street car id never be able to rego here in australia without personal import compliance.

you are right. own any car in any country for 12 months whilst your living there and you can street rego it here if you come back.

Last time I flew to Perth, it took 6 hours !!! Damn headwinds.

Its about 3 hours to Auckland. Good thing about NZ is that 80% of cars there are Toyota or Subaru But get used to saying suuu-ba!ru! bru

I am ashamed to admit I have developed a damn addiction to L&P (Lemon and Paeroa) while I was over there... You can even get it on tap at maccas and other fast food places. Gah!

L&P is awesome, you can buy it over here if you look in the right places. Only know a few places around here that have it, and its rare for me to have it nowadays.

They stock it at my local IGA, but only 600ml bottles.

In NZ you can get it on tap, in a glass bottle, in a can and IN 2 LITRE BOTTLES !!! Yo can guess which was my first purchase when I got off the plane
