i think cal just offered u 9k
take it.
i was in the same boat as you a month ago, no job no money, and sweet fuck all on resume so found it near on impossible to get a job,
now have a job, it sucks and the pay is shit but it should be easier to find a better job now i have something on my resume.
apply for anything and everything, money is money.
if you are on centrelink, next time you lodge a form or have a job network provider meeting tell them you want to get some kind of certificates and qualifications and they should pay for it.
i think cal just offered u 9k
take it.
meh wanted to go into retail but doesnt happen unless theres someone u know i guess, ive already applied for information technology at vic uni so see how i go there if they send a reply or w.e
just pisses me off how everyone else gets a job with ease.
been offered 11k by some guy here a while back by the name of susae86 or something but yer dno yet have to find another rig first ay
next time i will press refresh before i reply k gaiz?
nah man ur not alone in the 'finding it hard to get a job'.
im basicly the same age as you, but a full time student. noone wants to hire a student, letalone someone my age and studying 'visual arts' of all things. u just got to keep persisting til you get the right one. never quit one before u find another etc etc.
dig around.
shit will come good.
ae86, do you have a OH&S card or a construction site card?
they are always good to have and are cheap to get, always work available in the construction/labouring field too. hard work but good money,
man im available full time part time casual never even get as far as a call back, was gna do fkn pick packing but when i told dad he sounded dissappointed that i had resorted to something that low so i was like ffs didnt bother with it so im still here atm
best thing to do if u NEED work almost instantly, is head to a recruitment agency, fill them in on your deets/availabilities and you will be set for a month and have some expendable cash if you are happy to work on a 'call the morning before' basis.
i have done that in the past, and still do it occasionally cos the money is good. and most of the time it is pick packing that i do. strenuous, boring, and heavily monotonous work, but u get the money and time generally flies by if your in the right frame of mind.
working history cant really prove besides maccas back @ the start of the year =\ dont wana put my ex boss as a refrence for my apprenticeship cos he will prob badmouth me for leaving his stupid ass
get looking boy , are you signed up with a wesley united or some form of job seeking place?
