how difficult would a gearbox swap be for a noob like me??? i really dont want to sell my corona wagon but i live in apartment and have very little space.
Basically all it is is drain gearbox oil, unbolt tailshaft and all bolts to the motor and shifter bolts, disconnect speed and reverse light cable and then put a jack underneath it so i doesnt drop on my head them do the opposite to put the new one in. Very brief but is this somewhat how i go about it? I'm not completely useless and i would like to do it myself
The only thing that worries me about doing the swap is if i get stuck i cant do anything about it!
