Shift_Rook : Its one thing to rely on people paying a subscription...

Its another thing to have cash in the bank every month to fund events, not just register the club and sit back and do nothing. I would much prefer that if we do it, we do it right.

Don't have a monthly event..
My Girlfriends dad is apart of the Porches Eureka Car Club, They have a Car meet every 3 months.But go out for a dinner get together thing each other month.

Guys nick has been working on this for years, he has covered every single possible aspect of being a registered club.

It takes a hell of alot to get up and running, it's one thing to have members subscribe/register to become a full member of the club. We would then need a board for the national section of the club (president, secretary of finance etc etc) then you need a representative for each state, who would also require a board of people.


Then theres the insurance

then the organisation and insurance of events, and the list goes on, it is a hell of alot of work.

So basically, if the club doesn't have a substantial income it would fall apart, hence why we need all the advetising on the site.

i was thinking we could do a raffle on 86dc, everyone who wants a ticket puts in a buck, all the tickets get you is the chance to win the money from the raffle for parts.

so 500 people put in, each person can win 500 with a 1 dollar entry, or make it 2 dollars, 500 people can win 2000.
Would be pretty cool like once every 3 months or something. I have an empty bank account i never use, id be happy to post money in and money out so people know im not sharking.

i thought people were joking when they said ferrets bite, they sure as hell have teeth, but its totally worth it. They get so giddy it doesnt stop snickering and like falls onto the floor and rolls around with a toy for like 20 mins.

being quote unhappy with my life for the last few years ive wanted to move away. i was just going to move to sydney or somewhere else convenient but none of those places appeal to me.

anyone ever thought of moving to nz? never been there but seems like a nice enough place. i think on my next annual leave holiday ill go there.

i dont want to move for a long period of time. maybe 1 or 2 years.

my 2 main reasons why i want to go there are this:

1. its somewhere far enough away and different but shares the same kind of climate
2. import scene->personal imports when i move back here to australia

having an efini fd3s rx7 would be pretty cool or a 2 door version 4/5/6 sti. would be able to import and drive around nz pretty damn cheap and when its time to move back to australia i could bring it home and register it here.
