a turbo with anything more than a 4.1 will slaughter c&p's. costs $450 everytime i need one changed (local diff guy is a rip) not to mention how much the c&p costs.

its very true. spend 6k on an engine setup for my ae86 or just spend that 6k on a manual turbo s13....
just bend the shitty s13 keep 86 in garage if u love it, but i plan on keeping my 4.5 in if i go turbo fk 3.9 or 4.1

that car is fuckjin tough, rio, go turbo, more reliable if you aren't pushin it to the limit(boost wise) can probably be done cheaper, try a hdi cooler aswell, cheap and reviews are crazy good, turbo try and find an s15 t28bb, i also must say,ex gate sounds better than an worked n/a![]()
t28bb are a waste of money and dont like running less than 10psi.
the t25 with low boost will spool quick enough with the tiny kkr intercooler.
both those setups cost about 6k tuned. both are about as reliable as eachother. both are able to use 98 octane fuel no problems.
only problems they have are the na will eat c&p's and the turbo will eat gearboxes.
