    LOL!

    I know, I have a GTR.

If he just wants a track car, then there is a R32 GTR for sale for about $8500 -

Race Car Only tho... Can't import for street use.

S15's are not that cheap either and the price you pay for an imported S15 you might as well pay a bit more for a R32 GTR... IMO.

I think if you want a cheap race car, go S13 / 180SX...

I didn't even think of a NA8 MX5. That would be my next choice after the AE86.

    get another headache-roku.

Then leave it in the shed for 2 years, and just when your about to put it all together notice your whole rear left has been smashed then dodgily repaired then imported by some dodgy chinese guy and then be stuck on what to do cos you've just put the whole suspension set up in and welded up most of the rust and new suspension mounts and braces but you don't wanna re-shell but can't fix it easily with your limited skills with the welder you bought purely for the sake of owning a welder.

That's my experience. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I still love my rusto.

ahh see you didnt mention youve locked yourself into an import only. otherwise the realistic/obvious/best choice is a GOOD s13.

any of those big cars will feel fucking slow as on a track.

lots of those cars are extremely unrealistic propositions as track cars.. well at least the cost to drive and maintain them varies wildly.

like floody said, any gtr is really out of the question. same goes for the big toys'

can you really afford 265 R compound tires frequently?

S15 all the way. forget 86. i only say this cos you clearly want turbo and 86s dont come with them, and adding one just makes things difficult/more effort than youre willing to put in. no offense, i am the same

That link to the mx5 is the shit. With toxin's taste in wheels it will make it even better. If u can get a Chaser for 15 than i think that is the only way to go as they are worth more than that here. By the sounds of it you're a bit over the Hachi scene. Been there done that i suppose? And with that cash in ur hand i think its worth putting it in a newer car
    stroked 2L ca18-ae86 in the build...eta xmas 2012?
