I just got some wheels that clear my wilwoods sorted thanks to Mungi Mods.

The way the centres are cast they miss the brakes at the spoke area. Way to go 1983.

This thread is about people with 4 piston brakes. In particular wheels that clear them. If you have zero contribution to make there is no need to post.

    Specs -

    rx7 fc calipers
    ae86 strut
    mini cooper 294mm rotor

Spacer - stupidly wide spacer to fit any wheel. (ive tried meshies, ssr's, etc etc.
    Wheels - 15x7+30 watanabes
Caliper protrusion - about 30-40mm at a guess

    overall: not happy

    anyone swap for ajps setup?

    wilwood big brakes
    ae86 struts
    280mm rotors

wheels 15x7(+10ish i think???) ssr reverse mesh
    no spacers needed
theres 12mm clearence between rim and caliper so heaps of room

    Caliper protrusion - about 5mm
    min size wheels - 15s

Simmons V4s have 3mm of caliper clearance,

Im using MPV discs, RX7 calipers and a caliper bridge, custom adaptor

Thats a 20mm spacer, so around 22-23mm protruding from the hub face.

    RX7 FD 4 piston caliper
    AE86 struts AJPS adapter
    262mm EG6 Civic rotor
12mm slip on spacer (note hub-centric ring machined in spacer)
    Longer wheel studs

    All SSR Mesh type
    15x7.0 +3
    15x8.5-21
    15x9.0 -2

As you can see clearance with civic rotor diameter I could opt for most 14" wheels if desired
