PC Gaming wizz needed.

I'm having trouble running a game controller with the game GRID. After much stuffing around I've managed to set up 2 controllers, one generic dual shock and the other a logitech dual action.
The problem I'm having is all the buttons seem to work except for the accelerator on both controllers. I've tried using both the right analog stick and the right bottom button. Neither seem to register in the game and I'm left on the start line.
What am I missing? This is really frustrating.....
Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Did they come with software?

The only gamepad I'd use with Windows in the Xbox 360 controller

Yeh software all loaded. Its just the accelerator that wont work.

Make sure the controller is not set up with combined pedals, You will have to go into the gaming software and change them to separate, Do the pedals work while in the game contollers section of the control panel.

That's a good thought Trev.... But the brake works. I'll check anyway.

Thats why I kinda got a pc Matt. So it would do everything...

Hopefully it works with pads anyway, It had me stuffed with my momo when I first got it.

I couldn't find any options for pedals in game. You do know I mean hand controllers wright?
No peddles involved.
Anyway how do I look in the games software to change it?

Yeah thats why I said I hope it works with pads, What software are you using?

I'm using the software that came with the controllers. Ridgy didge.
