i dont think the corolla strut tops have the same stud pattern and plus ta22 struts/brakes are much bigger. Why do u want to fit corolla struts in for?
Hello there. Does anyone know if a AE86 rear axle[discs] will fit into my Celica TA22 1973? Also if I could fit the corollas front strut/hub/disc etc?.

Thanks for the reply Dave. I was wanting to convert my Ta to the corolla GT parts simply to update the whole system. To get a larger disc and to be able to get more replacement parts[ easier]than the old bits. There is more aftermarket stuff available, so that was my thinking. Also the Ta22 has really small discs on the front compared to the later Ta23 from 1977. I have never seen Gt discs yet to compare with my own yet,but I would imagine they were more substantial. Anyway what do you think?
hey mate yeah i have a ta22 myself, the later model ta23 etc have larger brakes which is a gd upgrade, you can also run ae86 inserts in ta22 struts. Only down side would be running some gd springs as they have the older pig tail style spring seats. It is possible to run ae86 struts, with ta22 tops??, havent really gone into it much but it can be done. Try toymods theres heaps of guys there with ta22 who have pretty gd setups. Hope that helps
What exactly do you have in your 22?
