Yeah I know what you mean, I just hate the digging for parts side of thing.. Problem is to me my car is a scale model of a 86.. until I have all the parts of this 'model' my resto is uncomplete LOL. I seriously will never do another car again, I want this shit out of my system before I hit thrity so I only have a few years left. I wanna spend my money on booze and hookers not JDM!!!!! But you gotta finish what you started, I know you understand..

Just buy a complete US muscle car works out cheaper... You'll die tryna buid one of those things. My brothers missus' Dad restored a HK GTS Monaro, It took 15 years and 80k.. I dont have a missus restricting me but Im at the end of my teather. I will only buy complete cars after this that you may only have to upgrade wheels or something on.
BTW 'hooker' is a collective term I use for all women as they all cost you in some way or another..
I'd probably buy one that was fairly complete but still needed work, cause I can guarantee you ill change one thing, but then ill have to change something else to suit. and so on and so forth.
I reckon it'd be quite easy to build one TBH, just need to have a clear idea what you want, and where to find the parts. ATM Im pretty keen on a 66-67 mustang fastback. There's quite a few decent ones getting around ATM for around $20K. Or a 50's F100. Bit more expensive.... but Ive always wanted one.

I Did just happen to come across a rego'd Dodge Phoenix in NSW for $1K. Yeah, $1000. Bit rusty, but 318 small block, 727 auto and a bonafide anerican tank. Trying to work out the logistics of it ATM haha. And convince the minister for war and finances that it's worth buying haha.
And yeah, Camaros are fucking rad. My old next door neighbour's 2 brothers both had one each. One was more original and clean but legit 454 model, but the other one had a 500ci crate motor with about $10K worth of braided lines. He also though my 445rwkw RX7 was a POS haha.

yeah I was, pair that I was after were sold when they got to up garage, so i bought my old BC's back.
I was intending having this on the road ASAP but it's all dragged out so long. Could have waited until July when GReddy had them back instock haha.
