Of course just re-ringing the 4a and retuning it will have me driving again faster, but if Im going to do something, I may as well go all out.
On the other side of the coin though, if the driveline doesnt sell, Im not too fussed. Ill be happy with an animal 4a too.
As for putting the car on a jig, I think it's going to have to be done regardless. The fabrication side of everything isnt a drama for me, actually I quite enjoy it.
Ill see what happens selling the running gear, if no joy Ill pull the motor, re-ring it, and get the car on a jig while the motor is out. Then put it all back together and rape it some more.

3s is a kent, because of which i'm thinkin bout just turbo'in my 4a, but not the same feel as a hipo n/a 2l, could always pull motor down., give that some turbo loving, get more power, and save coin

Easy enough to understand? the running gear is up for sale.... if no-one ponies up for it, it'll stay where it is. Car will be going on a jig regardless.

Well havent done much in the last few days, the rain stopped for a while here so i dragged my DMAX sides/rear bar out of the shed.... really surprised aboutthe fit. im not going to have to touch it.
As to whether I like it or not.... havent decided yet.At least it's not all busted ass like the streeter kit that was on it.
As for the engine... I've had interest in parts, but not in the whole combo.... so I think it'll be getting pulled out and fixed. I did find a VERY low KM Blacktop 20V at an importer which Id be keen on, but once again, need to sell my current engine to pay for it.
I think it'll have an angry 16V in it for quite a while now.

Nope. Genuine DMAX sideskirts and rear bar, as are my front and rear quarters arriving this coming week.
Front bar is a Vertex copy though.
