ACA is steaming pile of shit of a production. Whilst they weren't really against what the guy had done it's the beat up that pisses me off to no end. It's bullshit journalism like this which really makes me turn away from watching alot current affair programs on tele (ABC broadcasts an exception) and reading alot of newspapers.

Constantly reffering to the offence the guy/daughter committed as breaking the 'hoon law' and saying that the bike was 'impounded'...give me a fucking break. The dude broke the laws put in place to protect the park from turning into anything other than a 'park', riding a kiddies moto in a park has absolutely NOTHING to do with these so called 'hoon laws'.

My first bike was a JR50 which I shared with my little brother at the age of 5. If some bastard took that from me back then I would have been shattered.

impounding in general for "hoon" activities i can understand to a point but i in no way understand how they can have the right to crush/sell off cars/bikes. for road hoons in cars take there licence not there car.

they said there had been 40od complaints. i had a visit from the council after tuning my car on the weekend because of noise concerns not that long ago.. the same price who made the complaints gets his bike out a few times a week and just starts it and revs it. talk about hypocritical!

having ridden a bike since i was 8 i can safely say that taking your kid to ride in a park is just stupid.

join a club or go to the state forest. although the later is still illegal at least you aren't pissing of people in their homes.
