i think there should be some flexibility, like those bikes make fuck all noise, noone else was there, didnt need 3 cops, could have given a warning etc etc
haha yer i saw this all over the tv
i dont see the problem...the law is no riding motor bikes in parks....they broke the law....there is a fine......it in involves locking up the bike untill they pay the fine.....
she wasnt exactly going slow either, its a damn motorbike!!
if the let that kid ride the bikes in the park, whats stopping others from riding 250/500cc bikes around.
stupid-ass media.

Bikes can be fairly noisy. My brother's 80cc is quite loud. Main thing that pisses me off is how the media claims that it goes under hoon driving laws. Obviously this is not the case.
my concern isnt with the girl driving on a public park... she got a fine, and she was doing the wrong thing. stupid.. yeah kinda, unfair.. yeah probably, a mistake?..well no.
my concern is the blatent and unreserved attempts at tarnishing everyone with the same fucking brush. the people who write these stories for media suits such as ATA, TT and numerous newsgroups are the type who i no longer have the time of day for. Its the exact reason why many companies refuse (my families included) to comment to the media because of the constant storyline twisting, and complete disregard for broadcasting 'correct' information, in favor of information that will 'sell'.
This case is no different. she is a 5yr old (or whatever) who is now classed as a hoon. fucks sake if anyone doesnt see the stupid, incoherent, and non-existant correlation between this case and their own example of a hoon.
notice nowadays you only see people comment after the damage is done (no doubt to somehow correct what was 'interpreted' in the first place). Its unlikely you see people comment just for the hell of it.
Why aren't people supporting her passion / talent.
It wouldn't be hard for the Dad to take her to a proper track with insurance etc.
While I don't mind that she's in a park - end of the day if people let it happen and an accident occurs the parent's will cry "foul" and start suing everyone.
You simply can't have it both ways. Not that hard for the Father to cram it in the car and take her out on weekends.
Media calling her a hoon is stupid. Good thing she doesn't look like she takes it too serious.
I think we'll all agree that the punishment was a bit big for the crime, shows like this piss me off though, they twist peoples brains. My own mother would watch this with intrest and applaud the television show. What is the world coming to?
