No idea why Illest gets lumped in with the "USDM" stigma, personally. I can't lie, usually I'm not a fan of at all of the USDM approach, but coming from the point of a shoe designer, I enjoy the association between lowdown drift cars and the sneaker culture. Maybe I'd be better off repping Fatlace, but basically I just liked Illest's ripoff of the golf brand Titleist's logo.
Automatically lumping USDM into the "bad" category is like saying all ADM cars are like what you see in Hot4's, and that adequately represents every aspect of Australian style. Which it clearly doesn't. Or any other form of retarded generalisation, like everyone that wears pink is gay or whatever. It just shows a narrowminded perception. Whatever, each to their own. Internet warz are utterly pointless.
