motor seems pretty good (did 100 k's on it). gearbox is fucked, and clutch is is slipping the minute vtec kicks in. bullshit

ah well, i'm sad now, but i'll have it sorted soon just more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

is it the gearbox which is fucked (as in internals) or just not spaced out properly so the clutch isnt working well with it?

unfortunately it's the box (internals) it has been diagnosed by a gearbox mechanic friend, and he explained why 5th is dead quiet and all the rest sound like straight-cuts - i can't remember much of what he said though haha.
