heard good things about proxxes4's on the rear im sure theyd be fyne for our cars for the front also, well used two pairs of ma z1's not that impressed it was a consistent tyre and lasted but not so much extra grip, i think may be due to harder sidewall compared to the khumo and this is stretched also, so think ill try them in 205 with slightly lower tyre pressure should be sorted for grip hopefully, was running 38psi in them last and delammed one also wich sucked.

i still stand by pirelli dragons in 185 60 14 allround for a standard 4age/t series 2 way moderate to great suspension setup.
get them for around 100 each, great grip for when you want to grip, and great slide characteristics, good sidewall, dont delam, have good tread depth, grip right till the end even in the wet, predictable etc etc.

My build will have rt615 falkens on the front for a while and because i run 185 60 14 with 250+hp i will be trialing dragons adrenalins ze912 and something cheap like comets all back to back. If none offer the grip i want i will try rt615 on the rear then prox 4 then r1r.

Im also saving for a set of full slicks, not too sure what ill run, prob something bridgestone as I want to try and get an all out time attack time at lakeside and get the whole car dialed in for grip for a few lakeside days. Have a mate who runs 1:01s in a race prepped targa style 33 gtr and 1:03 in a gt3 thats quite standard and really want to beat those times. Have a mate with a sr20det gemini thats quite well setup running rt615 who runs a slippery 1:05 that im assuming ill be able to beat.

i am a very big fan of proxes 4 and toyo all round. ive used proxes 4 on the front and they were good but only for so much power and speed of entry's. i upgraded front to toyo R1r's which are super grippy and awesome for fast entry's. only thing for me is after 2 comps ive had some offs due to wear.
proxes 4 on the rear are my fav. great grip level and they wear dead flat and even until you reach steel belts. good bang for buck. if you want fast drift put the R1r's on the rear. super grippy and hard to break traction but fast.

the Re001's deserve props too. ive only used them on the rear and they were great. but they were more expensive and didnt wear perfect.

stay away from federal 535's and 595's in a 15 as in my experience they weren't as good for handling and always delaminated before half worn.
i heard they are good in 17's with no delam. dont know why? anyone had same experience with them?

Hey, i've been running 15" Federal's for a wgile (they've been helping me out )
The 535 and 595 do delam easily because of the tyre compound. the 17's have a different speed rating, which is why they don't delam. Running them in reverse helps though.
I was running 535-evos which were great, awesome grip, good smoke, no delam backwards or forwards.
Now runnning the RS-R which have a huge amount of grip (easily competes with r1r tyred cars), and seem to last longer than the evos too.
