Connected the radiator hoses and did up the clamps. Mounted the moroso header tank. Took notes on the fittings and bungs I need to connect the header tank to radiator.

Random parts from someone elses car that were sitting in mine when it came home on the truck. Someones going to be cranky.

    The new tank fits awesome.

Diff bend is a work of art.

    You'd want at LEAST a 2.5"

Pipe od is 63mm. I guess its 2.25, and most 2azfe performance exhausts are 2.25 mandrel. Stoked on that. Volumetrically it wont move much more air than a 4age at 8000 ever.

Plus I'm not camming it up, and the entire build has been based around throttle response and instant torque. I think the 2.25 will be about as free flowing as a 2.5 press bent system.

I trial fitted the ttt trumpets, and they aide clearance slightly, and look pornographic too.

Next on the list is to finetune and bleed the clutch system. I need a couple of caps and bungs and one fitting and I can connect the header tank and close off the heater ports and the cooling system can be trial filled and see how full it goes without an open thermostat and waterpump spinning. I have a bleeder at the back of the motor and the Header tank can bleed air into the overflow, plus the radiator has a bleeder at the top corner. Hopefully its trivially easy.

I will also have to mark the lowest point of the sump to relocte the drain plug to, so when the engine comes out I can do that perfectly.

Then Ill put the new MC in, I have no idea of the condition of the booster, so I dont know if I should have it rebuilt or just wait and see. Its pretty old and crappy looking. After that I will flush the lines and put the braided lines onto the front and connect the new calipers. Then Im going to have to have some ra65 drums machined to fit on the mx13 rear end. I have new shoes and Im changing it over to ae86 wheel cylinders as they are the correct size for the mc. I might invest in a new braided line to the diff also, since the diff bundy tube is new as well, and of course will need to flush the lines to the rear.

Then I will have to put it on the hoist and fit up the fuel system, I hope the tank can be massaged to fit the swirl pot up between it and the diff, as well as the h.p. and lift pumps. I have a carter lift pump for it. I will have to make 2x fuel lines and a breather too. I have the stuff already to do it, but its one of those jobs I swore Id never do again. Oh well, it should be easy with a hoist now.

Once vital systems are in place, I will worry about pre building the body and bumpers, making the mounts I need, installing the dash and interior, lighting and wiring. So much to do but its all achieveble stuff now.

Ughh I love seeing that engine, absolute porn, I would've thought that a 2.4L motor would need a much larger diameter exhaust than a 1.6L, a boosted sr20 uses a 3" exhaust typically (yes I know that is a turbo platform) but it is also only a 2L, but bear in mind that I am not an engine builder etc.

63mm OD is 2.5" which is probably perfect for this, nice work!
