ok so 4ag needs to flow to ensure good power, as small port is well as i believe to small the big port was to be the base for the project, so i will now introduce you to, the monster bigport. Initial rough porting shows the general idea to get large amount of air into small space with high port velocity well as high as possible. As it is a race only engine i don't care to much for bottom end power as i plan on it spending most of its above 5000, the test port is nearly completed minus some light blending (pic of this not here yet) Initial flow figures looking very promising. The 250hp mark is looking fairly achivable

curious as to why you didn't start with the 20v head again?

How do you get a gasket to seal? Weld more in at the top?
because the 20v heads can't flow as well as the 16v heads....too many valve's..........read billzilla's page.
In all the heads I've had or seen on the flowbench and developed, 20v heads win every time flow wise. It is more work to get bigger valves and cams to work with them, but the effort is worth the gain if your spending big dollars.
I'd say it's more about already having a FA engine already, and considering it's an N2 build they're supposed to have 16v engines anyway. I'd be very interested to see your finished port on here when you're finished Beau.
yeah don't take billzillas words as gospel, theres a lot of things he is incorrect about
