No real updates on the red 86, just working away on the bay cleaning everything up. However I did pick up this clean white one a few days ago.

It turns out that it's the first car that I ever drove back when I was 14. Can't believe it, 13 odd years later and it's back in my possession. 4age 16v conversion was done by the previous owner and all I've added to it so far is the Watanabes. It drives great

Made some progress on the engine conversion.

    Prepped the bay:

Fitted a new TPS, reconditioned the cross member/subframe and got the new mounts along with some lovely items from SQ engineering and got it in the bay without scratching anything:

Havenít updated this since 2016 so I figured Iíd do a run down of what went down with the car since then till end of of 2017 and Iíll do try continue on the never ending changes with the car.

Ended up finishing some things to get the 20v sorted for the car. First up was sending the car off for a rewire and an Adaptronic Ecu to get it running again.

Had a local photographer take some snaps. Having the car running and a tidy interior was a good feeling.

Next on the agenda was to get it tuned. The base map from Anthony (kaizen garage) was great but obviously not a long term option. The car made 119.5 rwhp and a lot more driveable.

Organised a meet/cruise with some local owners. It was an awesome day blasting through the hills in these noisy tin cans. Will have to organise another one soon!

The guy who sold me the Watanabes also had SSR Dori Mesh that I had to get my hands on. With genuine centre caps too! Got a solid stretch on them and then mounted to the car.

Shortly after this I ended up making the decision to go down the forced induction route with the car. One last pic of the bay as N/A...

Started gathering parts for the turbo build. Grabbed a W58 to put behind it and a new clutch from DCS.

Mounted the MRP oil cooler & filter relocation kit along with fittings & lines.

Intercooler arrived and piping got plumbed up.

Went with a Mishimoto shroud & fans for the Radiator.

Exhaust manifold & turbo arrived also. Gt2560r with a 6 Boost manifold is a nice combo..

Dump pipe, intake pipe & cheeky screamer all done.

With more power I knew the stock brakes wouldnít hold up that well. MRP supplied these 4 pot Wilwoods with 280mm Znoelli Drilled & Slotted discs along with Hawk DTC-50 pads.

Turns out the diff was an E series all along so ditched that for an F series. 4.7 final drive with a Cusco 1.5way installed and mounted S13 rear brakes to it. Added a GOSS e85 lift pump along with a new Bosch 044 to go with the undercard surge tank. AJPS panhard rod got thrown in also.

Next up a Turbosmart boost controller made itís way into the car and a Defi Din to keep an eye on coolant temp, oil temp & oil pressure. Battery also got relocated to the boot.

Bride drivers seat finishes the interior off for now...
