Car - 71 pano

use - pretending to drive in the garage

problem - loom didn't come with alternator plug so i dont know which way to wire it up to the main engine relay. also I have been told the alternator is from an ae93 smallport if that makes a difference and I have found an sv21 plug that fits but wires are different colours :S
so basically i want to know which pin is which.

occurs/started when - i am trying to wire up the alternator

personal situation - wanna get it finished so i can do some skidz

quick search found this:

( B+ ) - Battery Post - Heavy gauge wire that connects to the battery.

( S ) - Sense - Used to sense voltage across the battery to prevent overcharging. Usually connect this to the battery post wire as it goes to the battery too (saves wire).

( L ) - Lamp - Alternator charge Lamp (Turns off when alternator starts charging).

( IG ) - Ignition - 12V Ignition Switched Source

4ac voltage regulator on the strut tower has the lamp and ignition wires on that plug, so look for:
Black with yellow - IG
Yellow (or Yellow with white) - Lamp

Connect the associated pins together and you are good to go
