hey guys, just after some help. (cheers in advance).
as stated above i have an adm '86, with a black top 20v on it's way. after some reading, have gathered that when installing "trumpets/ ram tubes" the tube for cyl 4 will foul against the brake master/booster. question is: has anyone had experience with the item's available from www.tweakit.net (http://www.tweakit.net) ? have tried ringing, but no one awnsers (not a great look) or do you know of where a set can be purchased from in aus?

cheers lads,

(sam, if this is in the wrong section, my deepest appologies)

no right section so as you where.

As above if it's hitting then your only real option might be to sell what you have and buy those. By conincidence though I had someone ask me today if I know of any blacktop trumpets for sale, this might be really easy for you.

Now I don't want this to sound like a plug for anything I do but H8CHIR6KU in here said he solved his problem with a spacer (post 9):

I can't imagine it making that much of a difference though in that area? I guess yuo could try it with a thin piece of wood or something? how much more clearence do you need?

are you planning on just using socks filters? when you measure up it's probably a good idea to allow more than just the physical minimum as having something nearby does affect airflow.

yeah thats it. the spacer made a huge difference. i would try using a spacer before you go cutting out trumpets. the difference was from not even being able to fit the trumpet in, to bolting it up with clearance to the master. i cant remeber the length of the trumpets but johhny k would know
