how long do you have them set man?

i wouldn't mind some extra lock, but at the moment im very close to hitting the inner guard on lock in both directions with just lock spacer and pwr steer arms!

Have you beat the living shit out of your car or somehting?

Hey blair if you're interested in these knuckles I can chuck on my 8's and tell you if they scrub, I can only do it stationary though. I have these JDI knuckles and XT130 LCA's at the moment, did have sigma's.

... but I don't have any alignment details so that may change things up a bit.

With the wheels i am using atm i had to use a spacer to clear the tie rod end as the angle of the knuckle is different. I have got something silly like 20mm bolt ons to clear it with the bottom arm all the way in (still longer then normal) and camber tops out just a bit, with the 14x8 -10 they stick out quite alot as you could imagine refere to pictor

But it gives you lots of lock which is handy at the worst times!

But yes i still get some rubbing but no cutting which is good and i dont worry about it too much

what wheels do you have blair? sprinter86 is running the ae86 version on his rolla 14x7 zeroish offset stock lca's just with a nrca. doesn't have any scrubbing issues.

ak didn't get back to me so first in with cash gets thems.

thanks

Hmm I can't afford to space my wheels... They poke a bit as is. 14 x 8 -15's...

What's the measurement from hole to hole versus regular pwr steer arms?

trikzlane
8th December 2010, 07:56 PM
they are 10mm shorter then pwr steer arms blair, and 7mm off 0 ackermans

Ive found that you need at least a -5 offset 7 inch wheel to clear the tierod.

Ie. 14x7 0 offset fouls, 5mm slip on spacer, no issues.

just my experience. also 15x7.5 zero offset oni's foul....sorry calvin.... :P
